ABOUT
I am a Virginia girl, born and raised! After marrying my husband Josh I found my little slice of heaven in the tiny town of Chatham, Virginia. We raise our three children just outside of town on four acres of historic land which serves as the backdrop for many of my sessions.
My favorite spots are sitting around a campfire or having my toes in the sand, but home in Chatham with a Callands Coffee is pretty near perfect! Around the house you’ll probably find me in the kitchen (I’m a sucker for all kitchen gadgets and appetizer recipes!) or reading with a ‘doodle or 2 in my lap. I am also fluent in Spanish thanks to a 2 year adventure in South America.
From Bedside to Behind the Camera: Caring your Littles in a New Way
Working as a registered nurse for 17 years, I spent the bulk of my nursing career working with children and newborns on the Pediatric and Newborn Nursery units – what can I say, give me all the babies! After over a decade of working at the bedside I decided to pursue my photography dreams full-time. I continue to maintain my nursing license, so you can rest assured your little ones are in safe, trained hands! Working with children of all neurotypes for many years, I also work to maintain a neurodiversity affirming environment for every child so they can not only enjoy their session, but also deliver images that showcase their amazing, authentic selves.

My love of photography is rooted in my desire to never let precious memories pass me by.
I’ve had this desire for as long as I can remember, but it became my true passion
(ok, obsession according to some) with the birth of my children.
